Pamela Munemo is a multiple award-winning entrepreneur and aesthetician. Her first publicly documented recognition was the Rising Star Award at the Womandla STEAM Awards in South Africa in 2022. Her verified individual honours now include:

Patient safety and professionally delivered care

Trust is built through clear information, appropriate practitioner involvement and systems that put patient welfare first. Aurum’s approach is designed around consultation, suitability assessment, informed consent, realistic expectations, contraindication screening, documented aftercare and follow-up.

Medical and surgical procedures are managed by appropriately qualified medical professionals. Aesthetic treatments are delivered by trained personnel working within the relevant treatment scope, with referral to medical practitioners when clinical assessment or escalation is required.

Our internal safety framework emphasises infection prevention and control, equipment checks, emergency preparedness, documentation, safe referral and handover, incident review, and continuing staff competency. No cosmetic procedure is completely risk-free, so each patient must receive an individual assessment and treatment-specific advice.

Research before introducing treatments

Aurum does not introduce a treatment simply because it is trending. Before a new treatment, technology or protocol is offered, our review process considers available clinical literature and professional guidance, known benefits and limitations, risks and contraindications, required practitioner competence, manufacturer guidance, infection-control requirements, emergency readiness and the aftercare pathway.

This research-led approach helps us decide whether a treatment is appropriate for our setting and which safeguards, training and patient-selection standards are needed. Research and careful screening reduce avoidable risk, but they do not guarantee identical results for every patient.

Registered medical facility and regulatory oversight

Aurum Health Medical Centre is registered as a health institution under Zimbabwe’s Health Professions Act [Chapter 27:19]. The current Health Professions Authority (HPA) certificate records registration number CR11650 for Aurum Health Medical Centre at 617 Swan Crescent, The Grange, Harare. The certificate is valid until 31 December 2026.

The Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (MDPCZ) confirmed in a letter dated 3 June 2026 that the application for registration of Aurum Health Medical Centre was approved following an HPA inspection conducted on 24 April 2026. These registration details relate specifically to Aurum Health Medical Centre at The Grange.

Dr Bright Shoko is Aurum’s practising plastic surgeon. Plastic-surgery consultations and procedures are provided within his professional scope and are subject to individual clinical assessment, informed consent and treatment suitability. The HPA registration described above applies to the institution; Dr Shoko’s clinical role is presented separately and is not stated as the basis of that facility registration.

Aurum’s commitment is to maintain applicable facility and practitioner requirements, use appropriately qualified personnel within their professional scope, and provide patients with clear information about who is responsible for their care.
