- Cyst / mass / growth review — clinical assessment first; management may include observation, imaging, biopsy, referral or surgical removal depending on the finding
- Skin tag removal — removal of suitable skin tags after assessment
- Milia removal — careful removal of suitable superficial milia
- Electrocautery / electrosurgery — for suitable superficial lesions
- Minor skin lesion excision — surgical removal with histology or referral where clinically indicated
- Keloid treatment & management — individual plan that may include injections, procedural treatment or surgery/referral
- Scar revision — procedural or surgical management selected after assessment of scar type, site and maturity
- Skin grafting — specialist reconstructive procedure to cover a suitable defect following surgical assessment
Keloid treatment
Keloids are raised, thickened scars that extend beyond the original wound. Treatment is individualised and may include corticosteroid injections, pressure therapy, laser or procedural treatment, or surgical revision, chosen after clinical assessment of the keloid’s size, site and history.
Safety comes first
Suspicious, changing or uncertain masses and skin lesions require appropriate investigation and/or referral. Cosmetic removal is not automatically appropriate, and your practitioner will always assess a lesion clinically before recommending a course of action.

Your appointment begins with a clinical review of the growth or lesion, including its history, appearance and any changes, before a management plan — whether observation, further investigation, or removal — is agreed with you.
